Delete your
account.
You can ask us to delete your Octopus account and the personal data linked to it at any time.
How to request deletion
- In the app: open Profile and tap Delete account, then confirm.
- By email: send a message from the email address on your account to contact@theoctopusapp.co with the subject "Delete my Octopus account".
- We confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and login, name, email, mobile number and optional profile details.
- Your saved items, follows, and photos you uploaded.
- For vendors: your store or services listing, products and events.
What we may keep
Records of completed orders, bookings and payments that we must keep by law are kept for 5 years, with your personal details removed where possible, and then deleted.
